All a woman needs from her man is respect, especially in his company. There will be times in your life when you will have to choose between being loved and being respected. LOVE without respect is fleeting but RESPECT can become a lasting love.
The scars you can’t see are the hardest and most difficult to heal. Men who are true role models don’t need to put women down just to make them powerful. It’s just skin deep. Men should never disrespect the mother of their children. Always remember, wives, you are doing your best to care for, love and meet the needs of your children, especially if you are not helping or even lending a hand.
Sometimes. we have to let go of men who are toxic to us. They just want to drink and drink leaving us empty even if we want to stay afloat but these kinds of people are the anchors that keep drowning us. Women don’t leave men because they make too many mistakes, but because men keep making the same mistakes without even learning.
If someone does not appreciate our presence, let them appreciate our absence. They can learn to meditate and reflect on how things change because of their lack of respect for their partners. Be verbal most of the time, even if you don’t do anything to make him angry. You can’t even talk sensibly because that would result in a fight and the bad thing is I don’t know how to yell back.
He is selfish, disrespectful and irresponsible. I do not really know what to do. I didn’t know how to budget the money. He spent much more on his teammates than on his family. To think that he wasn’t even working. My in-laws were the ones who supported us. Better that he knew how to set aside money for unseen emergencies.
The moment everything changed in life was the moment I realized I deserved someone better. What’s the point of giving up so much for the sake of the marriage when you know it will only result in heartbreak? We can’t fix people who don’t want to accept feedback because they think there’s nothing wrong with them.
There comes a time in your life when you need to close a book because you can no longer turn to another page. A marriage full of resentment is disastrous. Love cannot thrive where there is irresponsibility. Irresponsibility is an integrity issue.
