“May the God of peace, who raised from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with all good to do his will, and work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory for ever and ever. My pray
Speak to me O’ Spirit of God. Jesus, let me hear your tender voice today. I look outside and the trees are dripping with fresh rain. The soil becomes saturated in preparation to release hidden seeds to their destination of beauty and fragrance. A dense and heavy presence of moisture floats in the air. A flock of geese flies overhead and does not hold back its praise at the faint whispers of spring that woos them, calling them home from their journey south. Fresh buds begin to show their first green flashes after the dark brown and gray of winter. The birds sing songs of new love between the tinkling of my wind chimes.
Everywhere new life springs up, displaying its splendor, its hope, its promise. However, my heart, which has so much to thank, is a little dejected because the accuser of the brothers has tried to cloud the incredible beauty of my life, wanting me to believe that I am far from You, my Lord. I know this is not so. I lay my doubts at Your feet and crawl into Your lap, Your embrace. I put my ear against the beating of your heart. I cling to you my Lord (Deut. 30:20 Psalms 111:31). Talk to me, I will listen to your voice and I will not follow another.
Your answer:I won’t hold back
Precious One, My Heart’s Desire, I will not refuse or deny you today. Open your heart and listen to My voice. Hold on to Me, never let go. You are the delight of My very being. I pursue you with an eternal love. Yes, I’m after you and I won’t stop, no, never. And I won’t let you go because I never leave you nor forsake you.
My grip is sure, bought with priceless blood. I wouldn’t have paid such a high price if I didn’t think you were worth it. Every reversal of pain and suffering that I endured will have its perfect work releasing its intended benefits into your life. What I have begun I will finish and bring to completion (Hebrews 6:1).
Let patience do its perfect work
I see what you cannot see. You must remember this and be patient, keeping your eyes on Me (James 1:4). Just because you don’t feel it, don’t see it, doesn’t mean it’s not there. Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen (Heb. 11). This is something you know but need me to remind you of. Have faith and know that I have not changed how I feel about you or My plans for you.
The steps of the righteous are ordered by Me (Prov. 20:24). I know your coming and going before you take a breath at each dawn of a new day.
I am here My love to let you know that I am jealous for you and will not let you live in winter among the abundance of new life emerging everywhere. Even the moments of winter are only meant to be preparation reservoirs, not an eternal habitation. Winter has passed, spring has come.
My word does not return empty
I am floating over you, around you with a thick and heavy presence, saturating and moisturizing the dry parts of your heart. Say My name, Jesus, over and over again until you feel the oil of Heaven saturate your very being. I am imparting My very essence, like dews of freshness on tender grass. Like the grass, you must absorb every molecule of what I am.
This is done by agreeing with me and not with the contrary thoughts of your accuser. He is a liar and father of lies from the beginning. There is no truth in Him.
Like a fiery arrow, an arrow of love and freedom, I send My word so that it penetrates to the depths of your being and fulfills the purpose for which I send it (Isaiah 55:10-12). Open to Me today. Do not harden your hearts because of your own faults (Hebrews 4:7). Remember, I forgive, cleanse and remove all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Respond to My words as I have responded to the sound of your voice calling My name. You will be amazed when your house stands firm on the Rock (Matthew 7:24).
You are my greatest love
Beloved, let Me love you today as only I can and let yourself go. Confess what we know to be true. You’re my favorite. I know, but somehow you have forgotten to what extent this is so. Do not compare yourself with others and what they are or are not doing. This provides absolutely no benefit in advancing Me or My purposes for you. I couldn’t love you more than I already do, no matter what is achieved or not.
I have made many statements in My Word about how I feel and what I say you are. You are the apple of my eye (Zechariah 2:8). In other words, you are the center of what I see when My eyes are open and they are always open. Remember, I never sleep or sleep (Psalm 121:4). In fact, I care for you while you sleep with a fervent anticipation that beats in My heart at the thought of your awakening. Sometimes the anticipation is so great that I can’t wait, so I speak to you in a dream (Job 33:14-16). Being with you is my greatest wish. You are my greatest love.
You are my oak tree of justice
Beloved when, when I look at you, which is all the time, I see a tree, an oak of righteousness planted by my streams (Psalms 1:1-3 Isaiah 61:3). You are dripping with the fresh rain of My presence and you will not wither. My glory is around you like a thick and dense fog. Heaven’s light is dancing through the sunbeams penetrating the moisture laden air around you. Like the flock of geese flying through the air singing a happy and enthusiastic song of the arrival of spring, I sing about you My love. I’m whispering through the wind chimes of your heart, singing a bird song of new love.
New growth is emerging in your life. One day you look outside and the trees in the distance seem brown, but they are full of new shoots of life imperceptible to the naked eye. Next thing you know, they’re an abundant display of green. So it is with you. Change your perception and do not base yourself on what you see or do not see, because I have made all things new. I take every misgiving and replace it with a promise. Have a heart of praise and thanks. Come closer, I’m close.
Reflect and Journal: Like me, I’m sure you’ve been to this place before. Take some time to meditate on the above words of love from the Father. The directions below are only suggestions. If you feel agitated by other thoughts, respond to them. Sixteen the day, the moment. He is near.
1. What doubts do you need to lay at His feet? Find in the Word a promise contrary to your suspicion and meditate on it. Write what excites you.
2. Have you taken your eyes off of Him and focused on your circumstances, or even your feelings? Faith is not based on feelings or what we can see. It is based on the eternal and immutable God. Reflect on this and write your thoughts in a journal.
3. Ask Him to show you places where you might have hardened your heart based on your own failures or unfulfilled expectations. Release it all to the one who delights at the mere mention of his name.
4. You are his great love, his favorite. Let these words sink in and transform your thinking. Enjoy His presence and write Him a letter of love and adoration.
