I remember when TaeBo workouts first appeared and soon became a household name in a short period of time. If you’re a beginner starting out with one of these videos, you’re bound to feel the burn because Billy Blank delivers a challenging and masterful workout. The great thing about Billy Blanks’ videos is that he starts with such an inspiring message that you just feel like he wants to help you. I was watching an infomercial recently and bought a set of TaeBo exercise videos. The first one is full of instructions and explains in detail the main moves Billy performs on all of his DVDs. Each exercise starts at a slow pace and then picks up speed so you’re in sync with Billy and the people around him once the workout begins. He will learn all the cool downs and warm ups that are common to all of his workouts. This is an essential training if you are going to move on to the other TaeBo trainings.

The following workout is under thirty minutes and is very basic. I love the fact that Billy Banks continually gives inspirational messages throughout the video that tend to distract you from how hard you’re working. Before I knew it I was covered in sweat. There’s something in there called strobe lighting, which was very interesting to train in but actually quite fun.

If you’re not familiar with high-intensity aerobics, advanced training will be a challenge for you. This workout starts fast right from the start and lasts for almost an hour. The first time you train in this, unless you’re a huge track fan, you’ll be sore the next day. Believe it or not, with all the energy that Billy and his team put out and you get involved in, it’s really fun. The best thing about doing these workouts is that you start to notice the results quickly. I enjoyed the fact that there are people of all different ages, heights, and body types who get a lot of exercise.

The reviews I read about this product were mostly positive from videofitness.com and they all talked about how they really got a great workout and sweat profusely. There was a review that Billy doesn’t complete the same number of reps per side, and when I used the DVD the next time, I noticed that too. Overall I think this is a very good product and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a powerful workout that is fun and inspiring.
