Mykonos – The elegant, stylish and simply stunning Greek island

Mykonos is definitely Greece’s answer to Ibiza, but much more welcoming and possibly a bit more expensive. In Mykonos you will find Greek celebrities spending their summer holidays. Greek singer and entertainer Sakis Rouvas is often seen in Mykonos, parts of the Greek national football team and singer Nikos Vertis spend their time here. So if you don’t mind rubbing shoulders with the rich and famous, don’t miss Mykonos.

You can easily travel to Mykonos by plane from Athens or by boat from Piraeus or Rafina. Day trips by boat to the neighboring islands are a must, especially to the tiny island of Delos, once the centerpiece of the ancient Greek world. There is also a speedboat that takes you to Santorini where you can spend the day before heading back to Mykonos.
