Simple costume ideas for men and women
For guys, open your closet and find a pair of light-colored pants and a button-up shirt. After that, try to find a small blanket that you can use as a serape. Usually this should have bright stripes and fringes for it to work. You can wear this as a shoulder drape. Another idea is to cut a small hole for your head and wear it as a poncho. Wear a straw cowboy hat or sombrero and you’re almost ready to party. To complete your look, use sandals or western-style boots for your footwear.
On the other hand, girls can wear a circle skirt. This should be brightly colored or striped. It is also a good idea to opt for a white skirt with pretty embroidery. A huipil can be a good combination, but if you don’t have one, you can wear any blouse as long as it has short sleeves and a scoop neckline. A shawl can also be added. Also do not forget to wear slippers or sandals if you want to look more attractive.

Again, you have the option of making a poncho if you don’t want to buy one. This garment can be easily made as long as you have the right materials. Fleece fabric is great for this, but be sure to take measurements on your shoulders before drilling a hole. Of course, a fabric with colored stripes is the most ideal.
