Do you know their logos?

In American culture, we are inundated with television commercials, corporate branding, radio jingles, and all possible forms of communication. Now there is a new mobile app that tests your general knowledge of these brands. Logos Quiz is quiz style app that presents images for you to guess correctly.

Points are awarded for each correct answer, but the amount is determined based on the corporation’s correct spelling and whether it uses any clues. In any civilized society, the goal of the corporation is to brand its business and instill that image in the minds of consumers. Continuing that line of thinking, the creators of Logos Quiz have gone one step further and brought brands into the digital age.

A benchmark of how well a company is doing in the market is the awareness consumers have of its brand, logo, and products. Ordinary people, every day, go about their normal routine, paying no attention to the hundreds of thousands of logos and brands they see weekly.

Effective communication of the image creates awareness and opinions within the market, about the quality of that company is a solid measure of how well they are spreading the word about who they are and what they bring to the market. Logos Quiz is a quick demonstration of how well they have spread their message.

I can honestly say that I did not know how saturated our society is with brands and logos, until I tried this mobile application. The first level, of the quiz, offers you 34 different logos to guess. Points are calculated based on the number of attempts at each mark.

Point deductions can occur for spelling mistakes or for using any of the 3 clues you have. The difficulty level increases in complexity as you progress to the next levels. One of the most interesting aspects of this game is that many of the brands featured are from all over the world. The appeal of this game reaches a truly global audience because it features these brands, giving it a unique flavor.

Thanks to this application, I no longer look around me in the same way. Normally, I would take care of my affairs and remain oblivious to everything. Now, I find myself looking at billboards, taking a closer look at newspaper ads and signs in retail stores. It seems that almost every company has a logo of some kind and a brand that they are building, whether they know it or not.

I consider Logos Quiz and the Answers website to be the equivalent of removing lint from the filter of a clothes dryer. Being able to identify the company, based on its brand or logo, has been provided through this website and mobile application. It’s hard to come back to life as you knew it, now that I’ve enjoyed this mobile app.
