The previous X trim level is replaced by the Sport trim. The removable hardtop and folding softtop are available on all Wranglers models. This time two different transmissions are offered: 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic. The two-door model is available with 4-wheel drive train only, while both rear-wheel drive and 4-wheel drive are available on 2010 Wrangler Unlimited models.

The maximum towing capacity for 2-door Wranglers is 2,000 pounds, and goes up to 3,500 pounds on Wrangler Unlimited trims. Anti-skid system, front side airbags, traction control, and anti-braking system are the standard features available on the 2010 Wrangler.
