6 cleaning tasks you can do in less than an hour

If you’re not a fan of devoting an entire day or weekend to cleaning, it’s not your fault. You barely live to clean your house every free minute you have, and you’re not supposed to. Cleaning the home should be a task that you dedicate yourself to with a clear mind of the benefits it brings. It should also be a task that you are well prepared and ready to complete as quickly and with as little effort as possible.

Here are some tips that will teach you how to deal with household chores in less than an hour:

Spray the shower: If scrubbing the bathroom is your least favorite thing in the world, you should take the opportunity to spray the shower every time you use it. A simple vinegar and water mixture works great and protects against soap scum and hard water deposits. Imagine how much effort this will save you in the long run.

Vacuum furniture: Every time you vacuum your rugs, you can also clean your furniture. You can do this with the help of your upholstery cleaning attachment. Simply lift up the cushions and vacuum underneath. Gently wipe the cleaner over other areas of the upholstery as well. It will hardly take you much time, but it surely counts as an effective way to reduce dust in the room.

Remove grease from kitchen cabinets – If you regularly cook at home, chances are your kitchen cabinets will get sticky over time. To remove dirt from them, you should use a specialized cream cleaning product. Do a quick clean with a microfiber cloth and see how effective the solution is.

Clean the ceiling fan – One item in the room that is probably causing a bit of a mess is the ceiling fan. If blades and other items get dusty, the dust can spread throughout the room. To prevent this, make sure to clean the fan regularly. Use an old pillowcase to place over each of the blades so the dust ends up inside.

Restore the shine of stainless steel: If you want a surface to shine again, mix a teaspoon of dish detergent with a quart of tap water. Take a microfiber cloth and rub the solution into the stained areas and areas with fingerprints. Rinse only with clean water and dry with a clean towel immediately afterwards.

Clean windows: Use a microfiber cloth and window cleaner to make windows shine. If the room has blinds, pull them down and cover them with an old sock. Easily removes dust from each particular part. Lastly, you can vacuum blinds and fabric shades to prevent dust from accumulating on them.

By following these tips, you can greatly improve your cleaning routine. Not only will it be easier for you to tackle household cleaning tasks, but the place as a whole will be cleaner.
