How Do I Cancel Autodata?

Autodata is a leading supplier of automotive information and is used by automotive professionals to aid with the diagnosis and repair of motor vehicles. Its data is sourced from various sources including manufacturers, suppliers and vehicle dealerships. Its databases contain detailed specifications, images and diagrams as well as service and repair instructions for over 80 million cars, motorcycles and commercial vehicles. Customers are required to pay a monthly or annual subscription fee in order to access the data.

The subscription fee can be paid by debit or credit card or via bank transfer. Payment details will be provided at the time of registering for an account with Autodata and these should be kept safe and confidential. autodata reserves the right to change its rates at any time. If a customer wishes to cancel their subscription they should do so by contacting the customer services department.

2.1. On receipt of Your correctly completed Registration Form and in consideration of (and payment of) the Subscription Fee, Autodata grants You a non-exclusive non-transferable limited Licence to view the Autodata Information on the Website for the Subscription Period. The Licence is granted in respect of a single physical site or address stated on the Registration Form and covers the use of the Autodata Information by a single internet-connected device in operation at any given time at that location. You are responsible for ensuring that Your username and password remain private and are not used by any third parties.

If You are not satisfied with the Product or have any other complaint you may contact Autodata’s Customer Services department. They will endeavor to resolve your complaint in a timely manner. If the Product is defective or damaged you must notify us within two days of receiving it. Failure to do so will entitle you to no refund or replacement.

All hardware and software purchased from Autodata may be returned subject to the rights of return and processes outlined in this section. The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping on return shipments.

Autodata will not be liable to You for any loss of income, profits, data or operational efficiency or any indirect or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with this Agreement or Your use of the System, regardless of whether this is caused by Autodata’s negligence or otherwise, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law. In such cases, Autodata’s liability shall not exceed the amount of the purchase price of the Products or subscription to the Website. The Autodata Training portal content including, but not limited to, its component videos, guided instruction and tutorials and handout materials as well as all documentation, files and presentation slides is the property of Autodata Training and/or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The user may not reproduce or modify any part of this content without the written permission of Autodata Training. This excludes content which is clearly marked as being the copyrighted property of a third party.
