Step 1 – DRINK

Drink lots of bottled or filtered water!

psyllium A plant rich in soluble fiber, like oat bran, but more versatile. It collects toxins (cholesterol too) and helps eliminate them. Add powdered psyllium to juice to help cleanse your colon, or have psyllium-fortified Bran Buds for breakfast.

Sesame seeds. They are credited with protecting liver cells from the damaging effects of alcohol and other chemicals. For a concentrated form, try tahini, the flavorful sesame seed paste that’s a staple of Asian cooking.

Exercising During a Purifying Cleanse to Get Rid of Cellulite Fat What exercise should I do during the cleanse/detox?

As you can imagine, during a detox it is not a good idea to put too much strain or stress on your body through exercise. However, this does not mean that all exercise is off-limits during a detox (it doesn’t come off that easily!).

The detox process is meant to give your body a chance to cleanse itself, removing toxins from your system and therefore you want to know what exercise can help with this process and is recommended during detox. Aerobic exercise (fat burning) is one of the main exercises to focus on when detoxifying. Aerobic exercise raises your heart rate in your “fat burning zone” (intensity around 6-7 out of 10 rate of perceived exertion) and encourages deep diaphragmatic breathing which helps cleanse your lymphatic system while burning fat.

While resistance training is fantastic for you, it’s best not to do heavy mass-building workouts while you’re in the first seven days of a good detox. This type of exercise (along with high-intensity aerobic training (HIT)) can be quite stressful on the body during a detox, and therefore can inhibit the body’s ability to effectively repair itself. After the first seven days, you can go back to your intense training. .

Amelia, I recommend this type of focus scheduled for seven days. Once you’ve gotten your body into the cleanse, you can gradually add more carbohydrates that are moderate to low glycemic and naturally occurring.
