Either way, this company is most likely NOT right for you. However, at the end of this DoTerra review, I’ll show you what you can do to almost guarantee success with them by following a simple two-step process.

DoTerra is a very new essential oil direct sales company. They opened their doors in 2008 and have since expanded globally to various foreign countries.

I will say that I personally prefer the newer companies to the long established ones because they have not yet reached their growth curve. If you have joined forces with a new MLM and then walk the growth curve, chances are you have a very large residual income for a long time!

DoTerra Review: Experienced Management Team

The president of Doterra is David Stirling. Most recently, he chaired the management team of an essential oil company and was able to double the revenue in just over 3 years.

Emily Wright is the Vice President of Leadership Development. He served on the executive board of another essential oil direct selling company for more than 10 years.

I mention these two members of the great management team, because it is clear that they understand how to promote and sell essential oils. They know very well who their target market is and how to find and market them as well.

DoTerra Review: Essential Products

Obviously, I have already mentioned several times that your product is essential oils. These are basically oils that are formed from completely natural sources, such as bark, stems, flowers, seeds, and roots.

They can be used for aromatherapy, taken in supplement form, or even applied to the skin.

The market for these types of products is definitely growing, as evidenced by the success of other essential oil direct sales companies.

DoTerra Review: New Age Compensation Plan

In my opinion, newer companies seem to have more lucrative compensation plans. They offer great long-term residual income (just like any other MLM), but they also offer not only great start-up bonuses, but also bonuses for helping your team members reach higher ranks within the company.

Of course, you receive a very good commission for any product you can sell, but true success lies not only in recruiting new representatives, but also in helping them recruit.

As you can see, DoTerra has a very solid foundation. They have products in demand, a management team with a lot of experience in this specific niche, and of course a lucrative compensation plan. However, that is not enough to guarantee that a representative will be successful, and in fact, the vast majority will never make any money.

However, I said that at the end of this DoTerra review I would show you how it is possible to almost guarantee your success.

First, you must join a team that will help you get where you want to go. Your upline should be committed to you and help you sign up new people. They must have succeeded themselves.

Second, you must be able to recruit consistently. You need to be able to generate 10 to 30 leads on a regular basis to consistently attract people to the business.
